Managing Notify Schemes

To manage notification schemes within GimCore, navigate through the administrative left menu.

1. From the left navigation bar, locate and click on Notify.
2. Select Notify Schemes from the expanded submenu. 🚀

This action will direct you to the Notify Schemes dashboard, which displays all configured notification schemes in a tabular format.

Understanding the Notify Schemes Dashboard

The Notify Schemes dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your notification configurations.

Page Header Actions

At the top right of the page, the following primary action button is available:

• Add New: ➕ Initiates the process of creating a new notification scheme. Clicking this button opens a modal dialog for data entry.

Bulk Action Bar

The central bulk action bar allows for quick filtering and searching:

• Search and Filter: A unified input field that enables searching across all displayed scheme properties. Enter keywords to quickly locate specific schemes.

Data Table Overview

The main section of the dashboard presents a data table listing all existing notification schemes. Each row represents a unique scheme with the following columns:

• Name: Displays the unique identifier or title of the notification scheme.
• Actions: ⚙️ This column contains inline management actions for each specific scheme.
  • Edit (Pencil icon ✏️): Clicking this icon opens the Update Notify Scheme modal, allowing modification of the selected scheme's properties.
  • Delete (Trash icon 🗑️): Clicking this icon initiates the deletion process for the selected scheme. A confirmation dialog will appear before permanent removal.

Adding a New Notify Scheme

To define a new notification scheme:

1. Click the Add New button located in the page header. ➕
2. An Add Notify Scheme modal dialog will appear, presenting fields for scheme configuration:
   • Name: (Text Input) Enter a descriptive and unique name for the new notification scheme. This name helps identify the scheme throughout GimCore.
   • Description: (Textarea) Provide a detailed explanation of the scheme's purpose or functionality. This field supports rich text formatting.
3. After entering the required details, click the Save button within the modal to create the scheme, or Cancel to discard the changes.

Editing an Existing Notify Scheme

To modify the details of an already established notification scheme:

1. Locate the desired scheme within the data table.
2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon ✏️ in the Actions column corresponding to that scheme.
3. The Update Notify Scheme modal dialog will open, pre-populated with the scheme's current information.
4. Adjust the Name and/or Description fields as necessary.
5. Click the Save button within the modal to apply your changes, or Cancel to close the dialog without saving.

Deleting a Notify Scheme

To remove a notification scheme from GimCore:

1. Identify the scheme to be deleted in the data table.
2. Click the Delete (trash) icon 🗑️ in the Actions column for that specific scheme.
3. A confirmation dialog will appear, prompting you to verify the deletion. This is a crucial step as scheme deletion is permanent.
4. Confirm your decision to proceed with the deletion. The scheme will be permanently removed from the system.
